It is also known as Lasègue-Falret syndrome
Plot
Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and director-screenwriter Todd Phillips talk about what scared them the most about making a musical sequel. In addition, Gaga talks about how she entered and remained in her dark character.. The subtitle of the film "Folie a Deux" means "Madness of two" in French. This initially led to speculation about Harley Quinn appearing in the film, which was confirmed shortly after. The name Folie a Deux comes from the 19th century French psychiatrists Charles Lasègue and Jules Falret. The term was coined to refer to two or more people who share the same madness or delusion.

The president of the jury talks about "People of New York" instead of Gotham City. That’s because New York State is the prosecutor in the criminal case, and this version of Gotham City is apparently located in New York State (most versions place Gotham in New Jersey).. Arthur Fleck: [Written as a sinister autograph with a sad smiley face] I HOPE YOU WILL GET CANCER. The film opens with the Looney Tunes title sequence, showing the Warner Bros logo surrounded by rings and the Joker’s face. Their personalities change
Entertainment Inc.. Rating is 6/10Viewed September 30, 2024 @ First Fan Premiere (First View)Format: (Digital) ) IMAXTodd Phillips repeats exactly what he did with The Hangover Trilogy with Joker 2. The director continues to make the sequel which is unfortunately empty and no character development. Phillips has outdone himself by directing a film that has outstanding cinematography/visuals that capture every feeling and emotion he wants to say and express. BUT he failed to create an interesting story. From the first to the second part, the characters of the film usually change. Their bow either descends or tilts.
Events/obstacles come their way to change their lives
OR new character/s enter their life which opens the door for more interesting events to happen to them, resulting in "Folie à Deux". In this movie, Joker/Arthur Fleck’s life doesn’t seem to have changed much with the addition of Gaga’s character, Lee. Instead, the film continues to repeat its events by revisiting the past (the first Joker film) or reacting to some of its scenes. It also keeps returning to the same places and events within the film itself. The result is an overall boring film that is ONLY visually entertaining. This film introduces two main characters in the world of Gotham, Harvey Dent, who is played terribly by Harry Lawtey, and the writing is even worse. By the end of the movie I felt like he was useless and being taken advantage of because of his 'name' within comic book fandom.
But the choice of songs was not in place
The same goes for Lee Lady Gaga who just didn’t seem like she was in this movie either. I enjoyed how this movie uses music/songs to show that it is an ESCAPE for our inner selves. On the other hand, their performance is well done by Gaga or Joaquin Phoenix and the cinematography skills of Lawrence Sher..
